If Viña Casa Silva isn’t on your radar yet, it should be.
This family-owned Chilean outfit in the premium region of Colchagua was only established in 1997, but they’ve already become one of Chile’s foremost estates, winning the ‘Winery of the Year’ title in 2013 from The Wines of Chile and earning the distinction of “Most Awarded Winery of the 21st century” (Vitus). So when our man on the ground, Davy, convinced them to make this exclusive just for our customers, it was a serious win.
Cinco Manos hails from the Silva family’s high-altitude Colchagua Valley vineyards, where grapes benefit from cooling, Pacific Ocean breezes and that brilliant Chilean sunshine – a quality advantage that gives grapes their perfectly ripened, fresh and complex character. Thanks to a brief slumber in oak barrels, the wine has a lovely cedar note framing the cherry and berry fruit characters.
Limited cases imported – you’ll want to get your manos (hands) on this beauty before we’ve sold out.
