Just six acres in size, this tiny plot is located directly across a small valley from Frescobaldi’s famed Nippozano estate (home to one of the most sought-after, expensive Super Tuscans). Its yield is even lower than in a typical Gran Cru Burgundy or First Growth Bordeaux vineyard – and you’ll taste the resulting flavor intensity in the glass. A 90/10 blend of Tuscany’s noble, cherry-rich Sangiovese and firm, international Cabernet, this has a history of impressing critics at Wine Spectator (“complex and fascinating; 92 Points”) and The Wine Advocate (“obviously of superior caliber; 90 Points”).
