Great vintage, top family, exciting region
Fetters Springs is that rarest of beasts – a lusciously ripe, silky-smooth Pinot Noir that doesn’t break the bank. But you only need to look at its pedigree to see why …
This exclusive new release is from the Sebastiani family (long a byword for quality and value). While they’re more often associated with Sonoma, here they head south to the Central Coast – home to some of California’s most sought-after Pinot releases.
What impressed us most was the seductively ripe fruit (a hallmark of 2013) … plum, blackberry, raspberry. Classic notes of cola and hints of toasty oak too. This is pure, juicy Pinot and it’s priced for pouring generously over the coming year (and beyond).
