If you’re looking for a fresh, new California white, this lovely Grenache Blanc will fit the bill. It comes from our friends at Geneseo Cellars (named for the historic Paso Robles district that was first planted to vines in 1886) and the top-notch 2016 vintage, which the team says yielded Grenache Blanc with “excellent depth of color and wonderful flavor maturity.”
Originally from France’s Rhône Valley, Grenache Blanc has found a new lease on life – and a whole new set of fans – in California. The grapes were harvested in the cool, early morning to preserve fruit purity – and the resulting wine positively brims with vibrant, tropical- and citrus-fruit notes. One sip, and you’ll see exactly why this rare grape is developing a (rapidly) growing fan-base.
Geneseo made this cuvee just for us, and there’s not a lot to go around. Get your orders in soon and see what all the delicious buzz is about.
