Information on the relief fund: Houston Flood Relief Fund started by Houston Texans J.J. Watt
Texans star defensive J.J. Watt's philanthropic efforts have reached a new milestone. Watt's hurricane relief fund has reached the $13.6 million mark by 6:30 a.m. Friday. He has established a new goal of $15 million. What began with a modest $200,000 goal is now an incredible amount of money raised by the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year in less than a week since Hurricane Harvey struck Houston and the Gulf Coast. Watt has emphasized that he will ensure the money will go directly to the victims of the historic storm that caused massive flooding, property damage and multiple fatalities.
