With a name like The Creamery, it should come as no surprise that this is a lusciously rich Chardonnay. If you’re a fan of the style, you’re in for a real treat …
The Creamery hails from Santa Barbara, one of California’s premier Chardonnay districts, and the superb 2014 harvest, which The Wine Advocate calls “an endearing and charming vintage full of precocious and fruit-forward wines.”
The Creamery offers up aromas of ripe apricot, white peach and soft honeysuckle. Light barrel aging (combined with the secondary, malolactic fermentation) adds flavors of honey, toast, vanilla biscuit and a creamy-smooth texture. It’ll make a tasty match for equally creamy cheeses or pasta dishes.
A fine example of opulent California Chardonnay, it stacks up to bottles twice its price. Order your great-value taste today.
