SPECIAL Graduation Case of Wine!!!
Whether its a gift to a recent graduate or a way to stock up your cellar for the upcoming celebrations- a case of quality wine is a timeless contribution. Drink some bottles now, drink some bottles on a rainy day, and save some bottles for years to come. Wine is a great memento to remember the hard work and dedication it took to finish the goal of graduation college. Not to mention- quality wine gets better with age, the tannins smooth out and the tart acidity that some wine has mellows into a pleasant mouthfeel.

The bottles within the case- (3) of each
2012 Bridge Lane Chardonnay North Fork Long Island New York
The scenic long island landscape in New York has emerged as a world-class region for wine growing, chardonnay grapes more specifically. This bottle comes from the acclaimed Lieb Cellars by winemaker Russell Hearn. This 2012 vintage is considered one of their best yet!

Tasting notes- On the nose citrus zest, green apple and huckleberry get your palate excited to taste. Hints of sea breeze minerality are found both on the palate and the nose. This chardonnay has notes of fresh spring bud breaking, faint lilies, golden apples, and lime zest. Very smooth round mouthfeel with no residual sugar, soft acidity and not quite full body.
Food Pairing- Fresh chicken salad with green grapes and tomatoes, Caprese salad with fresh basil and succulent heirloom tomatoes. Also, delicate fish such as Halibut or Tilapia in a light citrus vinaigrette.

2012 Schrodrer Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Patagonia Argentina
Patagonia located in the extreme southern frontier. With an extreme climate of dry sunny days with cool nights topped icy cold antarctic winds that produce a unique Cabernet grape. The grapes grow in tiny thick skinned clusters producing wines with serious color and flavor. The Acclaimed Schoeder family have braved the elements since 1927! This Estate Cab retains serious quality and is backed up with consistent gold medals.

Tasting notes- On the nose this wine is bursting with black and red berries as well as cedar and soft hints of ripe banana. On the palate this rich Cabernet has toasted vanilla, cassis, cedar, strawberry and blueberry jam. Very soft velvety tannins, full bodied and high in alcohol.
Food Pairing- Roasted lamb chops with herbed fingerling potatoes, Roast of prime rib or grilled steak.

2012 Castello di Spessa Friulano, Isonzo Italy DOC
This exciting white wine, has been enjoyed by locals in this area for years. Finally its accessible in the US! Friulano, is local star grape grown in the tiny world class appellation of Isonzo which is within the region of Friuli (Italy’s Alp ridged northeast). Friulano is an excellent alternative to Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc.

Tasting Notes- This wines perfume has notes of orange blossom, melon, sweet basil, crystallized ginger and mild mint. On the palate I found an earthy quality of wet stone, herbal notes of basil, mint and thyme. A delectable finish of lemon and floral rose.
This wine would pair beautifully with melon wrapped in prosciutto, fried goat cheese, and/or a quality cheese platter.

2011 1842 Shiraz Barossa Valley Australia
1842- Named in honor of Barossa's First settlers; one of australia's oldest wine growing regions. Barossa Valley is located in Southern Australia, right in-between Edna Valley and the Adelaide hills. This Shiraz comes from one of the best quality producers within the Barossa region, with other bottles within their portfolio selling for upwards of $100.

Tasting notes- This Shiraz is full Bodied and delightful light on tannins and no residual sugar. on the palate I found bold black fruit notes such as- blackberry, black cherries and blackcurrants. Classic herbal minty aromas as well as a earthy tobacco contrast.
Food Pairing- Roast duck in a rich plum sauce or classic Peking duck, Balsamic reduction glazed anything- Chicken, Pork, Carrots, Peaches.
